Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge

Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge will host the 16th annual Celebrate the Family gala at the White Oak Plantation on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.  Each year, five outstanding and diverse families from our community are honored at this very special event.  Typically these families have overcome severe adversity or contributed through their volunteer efforts to strengthen the community.  Through the support of the community, we are able to hold this event each year in recognition of the importance of “family.”   The contributions received from this event will help support Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge and its mission of supporting and strengthening the lives of children, individuals and families through direct services and positive social actions.
