Family Service And The Department of Children and Family Services Enter into a Partnership |
|
Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge recently entered into a partnership with the Department of Children and Family Services to provide more user-friendly options for Louisiana families and children to apply for and receive the services they need. Applicants have access to paper and use of computers to complete applications for benefits at the Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge office location 4727 Revere Avenue. Those benefits include Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly called Food Stamps (SNAP), Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program (FITAP), and Kinship Care Subsidy Program (KCSP). The families in the parishes that we serve will have better options for accessing services. This partnership complements the mission of both organizations as we strive to provide the resources and assistance for children and families in our community. |
